Good Morning All - and a special greeting to Ana Traicoff-Stratioti!! Happy Birthday Ana - hope its a great day for you! This week Dean hosts and we will have a Rotary Foundation celebration. There will be a Foundation update along with numerous Paul Harris awards. There will be a fundraiser update/discussion, setting a meeting for the bylaws update/completion and hopefully time for our groups to meet.
Last week the club met at the Curling club and had Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald provide an update on what is happening in the Barron Co. area. Looking forward to hearing what the club members thought about meeting at the Curling Club. Last weekend we also had our Children's Safety Fair. Would also like to hear how that event went - hopefully there was a great turnout!
OLD BUSINESS:
Reminder that there is an opportunity for our club membership to provide volunteer support to cook one of the meals for St. Vincent De Paul's Pauls Pantry (provided free meals M,T,TH, F each week). Would love for a member to step up and organize a date for us to do so. Please see Kathy R., Trudy or Monika if you are interested in coordinating this for us and we can get you the contact info.
If you need a program - Candace Falk, from the noon Rotary Club went to Guatamala for Rotary and has a prepared presentation.

Cameron Comets needs workers for their Haley's Comet Race on June 1 starting at 8:00 am. This is probably a couple hour event. Please let Trudy know if you are interested/able and she will get you contact info.
Ruby's Pantry - Sat. June 15, 7:00 am
Cook a meal at St. Vincent de Paul's Pauls Pantry - date ?? Time committment would be 8am-1pm. All meal supplies are provided. Looking for someone who would be willing to lead coordination of this for our club.

Celebration of Clubs 2023-2024
The May District Newsletter celebrates the achievements of District 5960 family members and clubs. One of the goals for the 2023-2024 year was to do the best year of service while having fun. WOW! That was achieved. Thank you Rotarians! It is inspirational to see the Rotary stories clubs have written for their local and global neighbors.

District Governors Citation
The District Governor’s Citation encourages clubs to strive to be well-rounded in several areas: Fun, Membership, Public Image, Rotary Foundation Participation, Service, Youth activities, and District Involvement. This is a noncompetitive recognition open to all clubs. Congratulations!

Growing peace lilies was a fun way to symbolize the challenges of "growing" peace, but when it is established it makes everything better. Members were challenged to grow peace lilies from seed. The winner of the Peace Lily Challenge is Vicki Dilley with the green thumb from the Northfield Club.
