Meeting Reminder, August 24, 2023 7:00 AM Stevies Cafe
Hi All! Sending out a reminder that we have our meeting this Thursday. Aug. 24th at 7:00 AM. Duana hosts. It was our plan to do a Board Meeting discussion but we are going to move the board meeting to the morning of the last Thursday of the month (this would be when there is no meeting due to the social activity that will be held that month). I will adjust the calendar accordingly. Since we will not have a board discussion, if Duana is attending maybe we can get an update on how the backpack event went... as well as talk about some volunteer/fund raising ideas. I will be the greeter! (If someone else volunteered and is ready - please let me know and I will take a future week.)
Last week Mark hosted, please see his email from Aug. 18th - it has the membership survey attached. If you haven't filled it out, please do so and send to Mark either in person or via email.
Also Monika sent out an email today with the information to order a Rotary T-shirt. This needs to be completed and returned to Monika either this Thursday or no later than Monday Aug. 28.
Remember - We still have that Co-President Elect position available starting in January. Or maybe you would rather be President starting in July? Great opportunity to help our club continue supporting projects throughout Barron Co. Please seriously consider being more involved - we need YOU!
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:
Next Ruby's Pantry - Saturday, September 16th, 7:00 am.
Can Am Bon Spiel Committees are set. They will be looking for help during the event on Feb. 1, 2, and 3, 2024 If you are interested and able to help out - Don, Dean or Jason know.

SOCIAL EVENT!!
Our social fun team planners have scheduled the first Rotary activity. Thursday, August 31 Social event at Enchanted Barn (1543 6 1/2 Ave. Hillsdale) - Bring a lawn chair - there will be live music and awesome stone oven pizza and beverages available to purchase too! There will not be a regular meeting that morning - we will have a board meeting during the morning.
