Barron County Sunrise Rotary Club Update:

Meeting is Thursday, Sept. 3, 2026, at Cabin Coffee 7:00 AM.

This week we will have a board report out and spend some time in our committees for future plans to support our visioning efforts.  Really hope to see you all there!

Last week Jim hosted and we had club updates, some socializing, and spent the majority of the time discussing details for our Bourbon and Spirits event coming up next month.  Tickets were made available so you can start selling them now.

We had our board meeting this morning - some brief points covered:  Reviewed the financials, area updates, set time to go to Jim's house on Thursday after the regular meeting to get Rotary materials and select a couple prints for our Bourbon event silent auction. If a couple members would like to join us that would be great. Also discussed the purchase of a table for the lumbering HOF park area.  We tabled that until after the Bourbon event for a spring purchase.  More details at our meeting on Thursday.

Cumberland Rotary Impact Club Update:

REMINDER - No Meeting this Week- Our next meeting is Wednesday Sept. 9  7:00 AM Harvest Grill

We met last week and had a great turnout as summer vacations are coming to an end.  Our next meeting will be 9/9 at 7:00 am at the Harvest Grill.  Lots of members were busy supporting the Rutabaga Festival this past weekend from working in food stands and the beer tent to our club activity of cleaning up the beer garden each morning. It’s great to see all of the community support for a great event!  We delivered the last of the school supplies just in time for school to start this week.  Have a great Labor Day weekend!

Thanks, Lisa

Shell Lake Area Companion Club Update:

REMINDER - No Gathering this Week - Next gathering is Wed. Sept. 9, 5:30 pm at the Shell Lake Lodge.

Last gathering created excitement to participate with our host, Barron County Sunrise  Club as we think of silent Auction items from our Shell Lake Area to package for the Bourbon & Spirits Harvest dinner Oct 15th. Also great discussion took place on possible youth involvement for the new school year.
