Good Evening!
Sending you a reminder that we have a meeting, Thursday, July 20 at 7:00 am at Stevies Cafe. Mike Van Gilder hosts and will be sharing with us an update on the re-vitalization of the Rice Lake Main St. project. Last week Ana hosted and she gave a real interesting presentation on Mental Health. Some of what it is, how it presents, and links and info for resources. This topic is one of our Rotary International initiatives. RI President, Gordon McInnaly, has indicated that RI would like to prioritize projects that support mental health this next Rotary year.
Remember, we still have an opportunity for a member to be our Co-President Elect starting in January. Please seriously consider taking this opportunity to be more involved. This is a great way to share leadership and learn more about Rotary.
The Board held a meeting tonight and Dean will be sharing the topics discussed along with recommendations. We will address Rotary Dues, Meeting schedule, Checking Account for the Can Am Event, and Jeremy's request for supporting the new Trap Club in the Prairie Farm School District.
Our social fun team planners have scheduled the first Rotary activity. Thursday, August 31 Social event at either Perlicks or Enchanted Barn - more info on that but mark it on your calendar!
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:
Next Ruby's Pantry - Saturday, September 16th, 7:00 am.
Can Am Bon Spiel Committees are set. They will be looking for help during the event on Feb. 1, 2, and 3, 2024 If you are interested and able to help out - Don, Dean or Jason know.
