REMINDER - Rotary Meeting Thursday, Oct. 31 at Stevies Cafe - 7:00 am. Wrap-Up of Roses and Bourbon Tasting Event.

Reminding everyone that we have our meeting this Thursday, 7:00 am at Stevies Cafe. We will be doing a wrap up of our Bourbon Tasting Event and our Rose Sales this year, along with a report on what we sent in for Polio Plus. I think preliminary reports are showing that all activities were a huge success this year!! There are a few of you who owe money for your roses - please bring on Thursday so we can close out the sales report.

BJ, Jim and Jason S. will be completing an audit on our books.

We are still looking for a new Treasurer starting in July 2025. Kathy will be retiring and won't have the same technology availability. If you are interested please let her or any board member know now - you can get a LOT of training in ahead of time.

Also, if someone is interested in doing some PR (facebook and/or web page) we could use your help!

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:

Cook a meal at St. Vincent de Paul's Pauls Pantry - Monday, Nov. 18
Ruby's Pantry - Next date is Sat. Dec. 21 - please put it on your calendar.
We will be looking for times/dates locations for Salvation Army Bell Ringing. That will start next month!

UPCOMING PROGRAMS:

Reminder we began our trial on the new meeting system of two formal meetings per month and one social event. The social event will be planned by two club members as part of the meeting host rotation. Please be flexible and open minded - this is a trial. You will get information each week - you just need to read the bulletin ;-) and mark your calendars!

October will have meetings all month due to the DG visit, Bourbon Tasting and Rose Sales Events.

Oct. 31 - Meeting - no speaker - wrap up of Bourbon Tasting and Rose Sales.

November will have slight adjustment due to the Thanksgiving Holiday

Nov. 5 - Tuesday Board Meeting

Nov. 7 - No Meeting

Nov. 14 - Meeting - Ken P. hosts a visit to the Pregnancy Help Center's new location at 1800 McCauley Ave. For those who want breakfast - we can have a quick one at 7am - then be at the Pregnancy Help Center at 7:30 am.

Nov. 18 - Cook meal at St. Vincent De Paul's Food Pantry

Nov. 21 - Meeting (due to Holiday next week) Kathy R. hosts Jenifer Mason, Director of Benjamin's House with an update on their activities.

Nov. 28 - No Meeting due to Thanksgiving Holiday
