Reminder, Rotary Meeting, Thursday, Sept. 7 at 7:00 AM Stevies Cafe in Rice Lake
Happy Labor Day Folks - Hoping you had a great long weekend and were able to stay cool in one way or another. Sending you a reminder that we have our meeting this Thursday, Sept. 7 - 7:00 am at Stevies Cafe. Don hosts and we will share information from our board meeting last Thursday morning. Jim S., Dean and I were there. We will review the few things that we covered that morning. Primarily our goals, a couple of ideas for a signature project this year and a few other items for your approval. We are also hoping that Ken received all of the dictionaries and we can do a dictionary work day and set up our schedule for distribution. Jeremy is our greeter Thursday morning.
Last Thursday evening we also held our first social event of this Rotary year and it was a grand success! We came from near and far - even by 4-wheel! We listened to some awesome music by Sean and Ian (who are currently in the process of hopefully qualifying for American Idol), had some phenomenal pizza and an overall fun time. Here are some pics to share with you.
Remember - We still have the Co-President Elect position available starting in January. Or you can be the President starting in July. The club supports an incoming president going to the international conference....if you have an interest it will be in Singapor! How is that for some incentive. Great opportunity to develop your leadership and help our club continue supporting projects throughout Barron Co. Please seriously consider being more involved - we need YOU!

Next Ruby's Pantry - Saturday, September 16th, 7:00 am. (I need to get some RSVP's)
Can Am Bon Spiel Committees are set. They will be looking for help during the event on Feb. 1, 2, and 3, 2024 If you are interested and able to help out - let Don, Dean or Jason know.
