District News:
To Club and District Leaders:The Midterm will be on Saturday, January 3 from 8:00 AM to noon at the Boy Scout Base Camp at Ft. Snelling, MN. Information will be shared and ideas exchanged on several topics. The main topic will be membership, an issue of critical importance to many clubs. A panel of members from several clubs, showing membership growth, will share ideas for success. RI Director-Elect Tom Gump will share ideas on how to grow membership in today's world. You will hear about several areas of District focus, including Crutches 4 Africa, LIFT, and food security, and how your club can become involved to make an impact in these areas of need. The 2024-25 Signature Club Projects will be showcased. There will be time to exchange ideas with Rotarians from throughout the District. If you have not registered yet, you can at DACdbAs you know, November is Rotary Foundation Month. You are encouraged to contribute to the Annual Fund, PolioPlus, the Endowment Fund, and the Disaster Relief Fund throughout the year. However, November is the time of year we ask you to really consider supporting your foundation. Your generosity helps us meet the needs of those who need our help, locally and globally.
