Meeting Reminder, August 10, 2023 7:00 AM Stevies Cafe
Good Morning All - It is another beautiful morning out there. Reminding you that we have our meeting this Thursday. Aug. 10th at 7:00 AM. Monika is hosting and she will be bringing shirt samples from Northwoods Printing so we can finally get those T-shirts ordered. One decision that needs to be made will be do we order extra and if so how many for future volunteers and/or give aways. (My vote is yes - get 12, 6 large and 6 extra large). The payment method will be decided and communicated at the meeting.
Duana will be our Greeter.
Last week we had our DG Patricia McCleese attend and we had a fantastic discussion on Rotary - where we want to go with our club - and what Rotary means to us. Thank you Patricia for stopping in to visit and for helping us remember why we are part of this amazing organization. Here is her message to our club:
Greetings, Barron County Sunrise Rotary
Thank you for your warm welcome last week. I like Stevie's. For those of you who were unable to attend, you missed a great conversation. The photos and write-up are on the District's Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/rotary5960/
I left the meeting feeling confident that this will be an excellent year for Barron County Sunrise.
Be sure to add the goals in the Rotary Club Central. That would be most appreciated. Attached is a form you can use to summarize your activities. Evaluating what was done helps when making decisions for the following year.
Please send me photos you want to share on the District's FB page.
Cheers for a beautiful new Rotary year of serving Barron County!

We still have that Co-President Elect position available starting in January. Or maybe you would rather be President starting in July? Great opportunity to help our club continue supporting projects throughout Barron Co. Please seriously consider being more involved - we need YOU!
The club would like more information on Jeremy's request for supporting the new Trap Club in the Prairie Farm School District.
Our social fun team planners have scheduled the first Rotary activity. Thursday, August 31 Social event at either Perlicks or Enchanted Barn - more info on that but mark it on your calendar! There will not be a regular meeting that morning. (NOTE TO DEAN and KATHY - please be sure to let Stevies know that we will not be here on August 31)
