Sunrise Rotary Club Update:

REMINDER - Meeting Thurs. Oct. 2, 7:00 AM, at Cabin Coffee

This week we will be going over information from our Board Meeting this morning (Bylaws finalization, tentative visioning and One Summit dates), reviewing our Spirits and Bourbon Tasting event, reviewing Dictionary Deliveries to our county schools, and meeting in our small groups (Membership, Club Identity, PR, and Programming).  We will also be getting our Rose Sales supplies and information - so this is an important meeting to attend!!   We also need to get final numbers for our pontoon social next week!

Last week we finalized details for our Spirits and Bourbon Tasting and put stickers on all the dictionaries for delivery to our county school's 3rd graders.

A couple of other reminders:

1) NEGU update! March 27 is our date for the Joy Jar packing event to be held at Bethany Lutheran Church.  We are $1900 away from our goal.  Hoping to surpass so we can pack more jars.

Cumberland Rotary Impact Club Update:

REMINDER - No Meeting this week!!

We are planning on doing the Crutches for Africa throughout Oct.  Finalizing our Ribbon Cutting at Nezzies on October 15th at 5pm.  Entrance fee will be a donation of a personal hygiene product for highschoolers.  We will be compiling 3 baskets (School Nurse, Social Worker, and Phy Ed office).  We will continue to work on how we can help the NOW (nutrition on weekends - backpacks) program in Cumberland.  Through a generous donation, one of our members was able to help the program with an emergency need for a new freezer.  Next meeting will be next week - Oct. 8th
