This week we will have Tyler hosting a surprise presentation.
Last week Sheldon hosted Tyler Gruetzmacher from Barron Co. Soil and Water Conservation Dept. Tyler shared information on the condition of Well Water in Barron Co. It was really interesting and he provided resources for us to check out if we want to get more information or get our own water tested. Thank you Sheldon for a great program.
Also a special thank you to everyone who stayed to put labels on our dictionaries and even more thanks for those who are delivering the dictionaries.
We also received our Rose Sales Tickets - please pick up a poster and tickets at this week's meeting if you haven't done so already.
Cumberland Rotary Impact Club Update:
REMINDER - Meeting is Wednesday Sept. 23 7:00 AM Harvest Grill
Happy Fall Solstice! This week we will meet on Wednesday at 7:00 am at the Harvest Grill at Cumberland Healthcare. We are getting ready to help with the Suicide Prevention Walk on Saturday 9/26. Join us at UWECBC! We are also recruiting volunteers for the Sleep in Heavenly Peace Bed Build on Oct. 3rd. We have gotten several inquiries about donating from community members - so we are excited about that! We will also be doing a mini club visioning session as follow up to the session we did as a large group in May. We will be doing this with our club on 10/7 at Nezzy's and are looking for what members are interested in shifting in the next year.

Shell Lake Area Companion Club Update:
REMINDER - Gathering is Wed. Sept. 23, 5:30 pm at the Shell Lake Lodge.
We gather this Wednesday (usual 2nd and 4th Wednesday). Will be discussing our participating in the Cumberland Impact Group's Suicide Walk, Sleep in Heavenly Peace Bed Build, Bourbon & Spirits Harvest Dinner, Rose Day, and helping with concessions at Shell Lake Homecoming concessions stand.
It is going to be a busy October month for all area Rotarians!
