Meeting Notification - MONDAY September 19, 2022 7:00 AM
Good Morning everyone.
It sounds like we had a very successful Dictionary Distribution week last week. Lots of fun pictures shared and great feedback. Thank you to all who were present to help label the dictionaries as well as to those who helped deliver them. Thank you Ken for coordinating this great project for us!!
We are still working on getting our final meeting spot established. Jim had sent out a request for feedback on meeting days/times of the week. We are still working on locations. Some of our options (with a few more details) are:
Cabin Coffee Back Room - would probably fit for us but everyone would have to order/pick up order and it would be pretty distracting.
Seasons Cafe in Barron (seats 25) - this is available for Tuesday mornings at 7:00 am. They have wifi, would work with us for a menu/cost options, Kiwanis meet there on Friday (if anyone knows a Barron Kiwani member - please check out their thoughts).
Mosaic Telecom Meeting Room (ample seating, all electronics already there, catering provided by Cameron House) Need to double check dates/catering cost.
Stevies Restaurant in RL - Men's Club meets there on Tuesday Mornings - would look at a Thursday morning option.
For the present time, we will meet at Norske on Monday's on Sept. 19, and 26.
Tomorrow we will be handing out Rose Sales Tickets and Posters. Rose day is Oct. 27. $20 per dozen. If you cannot attend the whole meeting starting at 7:00 am, please stop by on your way to work to get a ticket packet and poster. We will be running this the same as last year - what you sell you deliver(or the buyer comes in to the Mall on October 27 to pick their roses up). We will also coordinate within our club for deliveries as well.
Board meeting tomorrow night - 5:30 pm at Joe's office in the Marsh building. All are welcome.

October 4th was going to be our membership informational meeting. This is postponed indefinitely until we have a permanent location.
The purpose of this meeting is to invite those interested in learning about Rotary. It is an opportunity to showcase what we are all about and increase our membership.
To help with recruitment, we are offering a provisional membership for 3 months (lower cost) so potential members can check us out before committing to a full membership. Please continue to reach out to the people Don Drost helped us to identify and any others you think might be interested.
