Reminder - Meeting on Thursday, Jan. 4 at 7:00 am at Stevies Cafe
Happy New Year Folks!
Reminding you we have our meeting this week on Thursday, Jan. 4 at 7:00 am at Stevies Cafe. Monika hosts and will have our own Duana giving a report on the Salvation Army and the new homeless shelter. Maybe with some ideas for volunteering! Last week we did not have a meeting in the morning but there was a gathering at Kathy Ricci's home for our holiday celebration.
For one more week I will keep the following notes in the bulletin (from our work 2 weeks ago) - next week (Jan. 11) we will be having a meeting on Member IN-Service Part 3, to use this information so we can get a more solid plan in place for our clubs future.
Last week we did a sharing of our most favorite life focus or activity....basically what are our two biggest passions or interests were in our life. We got some good information and had some fun discussion. We also talked about narrowing this information down to a signature project. Some ideas we came up with were: Bike Trail marking/Tour de Color type bike ride; Outside Concert; Another twist on the Kids Safety Fair; Trap Shoot with Brill Sportsman Club; Partner with Golden K on something. Thank you to Dean and Clare for leading us on this! Here is the actual list Clare generated from our discussion:
