Meeting is Thursday, Oct. 1, 2026, at Cabin Coffee 7:00 AM.
This week we will have our Board Meeting Report out. A couple of things we will touch on are our financials (in good shape), donation to Salvation Army and Empty Bowls fund raiser for Backpack lunch program. Also a little discussion on the opportunity to use “What's App” for text communication.
Last week we had discussions regarding the upcoming service events: The Bed Build, Rose Sales and our Bourbon Tasting event. We also received a recognition gift from the Cumberland Impact Club for our 30 year anniversary. It was a pleasant surprise. Thank you Clare and Lisa and Cumberland members.

REMINDER - Next Meeting is Wednesday Oct. 14 7:00 AM Harvest Grill
It was a busy week this past week! We welcomed a new member at our meeting on Wednesday. She was a member of the Edina club and we are excited that she’s joining our club. We delivered chips and salsa to the Barron County Sunrise Club to celebrate their 30th anniversary!!! One of our members shared her harvest and her canning talent. We are so grateful that a group of people started Sunrise 30 years ago so they could pay it forward and help us start just last year! On Saturday we supported the Northwoods Out of the Darkness suicide prevention walk. The pic below is of a few of our members walking. It was a very hope filled event while honoring and remembering those that have died from suicide. This week we will help with the Bed Build on Saturday. Our club and community are so grateful to have this local resource for families in need.

Shell Lake Area Companion Club Update:
REMINDER - Next Gathering is Wed. Oct. 14, 5:30 pm at the Shell Lake Lodge.
We didn't have a gathering last Wednesday as so many people were gone. We are working on rose sales with a re-designed poster that is for the Shell Lake area. Also working on what we will have for our Silent Auction items.
