It’s not every day that we have the chance to gather, learn, and take action together to build a more peaceful world. This is my personal invitation and challenge for you to join me at our upcoming Make Peace Visible Conference, taking place May 1-3, 2025, at Mystic Lake Casino & Resort.
This conference is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to connect with world-class speakers, nonprofit leaders, and fellow Rotarians from 120 communities across our region. We’ll tackle the critical intersections of food security, clean water, health, and peace, working together to make a real difference in our communities and around the world.
Why should you attend—and bring your nonprofit and community partners with you?
Because as you’ve seen in the headlines, federal funding for many of our nonprofit partners is uncertain. These essential organizations—working tirelessly to increase food security and improve lives—need our support, collaboration, and encouragement more than ever. Think of what a gift your club’s invitation to this conference could be to them.
By joining us, they’ll gain invaluable insights, actionable tools, and new partnerships that will help them expand their impact.
And, because we believe in service above self, you’ll have the chance to pack meals with The Outreach Project during our District-wide service project, led by my friend and fellow DGN Isaac McNurty from Kansas. Isaac just returned from installing water filtration systems in schools in Africa, but the meals we pack at the conference will help meet immediate hunger needs right here in our own region.
What you’ll experience at the Make Peace Visible Conference:
World-class speakers, including leaders from the Gates Foundation, World Food Program USA, and Rotary International Peace Fellows
Networking with Rotarians and changemakers from across our region
Five meals at an outstanding conference center included in your registration
Hands-on learning in interactive breakout sessions on food security, water access, and human rights
An impactful service project to address hunger in our communities
Yes, the cost may feel high at $249 with the early bird rate, but consider what you’re getting. Five meals, global leaders, regional connections, and actionable ideas that will transform your Rotary projects and strengthen partnerships with your community. And as we all know, the world is just more expensive these days.
I’m also thrilled to share that Ecolab, whose world headquarters is near my home club in Saint Paul, has stepped up with a generous sponsorship gift to help keep this conference as affordable as possible.
So, here’s my challenge to you:
Sign up today and invite a nonprofit partner to join you at this special rate. Let’s fill the room with passionate, purpose-driven people, ready to learn, serve, and build peace together.
Early bird pricing ends February 10—don’t wait! Register now at makepeacevisible.org.
Thank you for all you do to make peace visible in your community, in our district, and around the world. Together, we can do even more when we gather this May.
Yours in service and peace,
Michael-jon Pease
