MEETING CHANGED! NO MEETING THURSDAY JULY 18

SOCIAL ACTIVITY - Kids From Wisconsin Concert at Veterans Park in Rice Lake!

Reminding everyone that we made a change at our meeting last week. We are doing our social event this week. Kids From Wisconsin - at the bandshell in Rice Lake. Concert runs from 7-9, the opening act is our local school band. Bring a chair, wear your Rotary shirt, and come early - or meet up somewhere? So DO NOT GO TO STEVIES THURSDAY MORNING! Our next meeting will be Thursday, July 25th at Stevies Cafe. Mark will be presenting the ByLaws Update and BJ will be presenting his plan for the next Rotary year.

Last week Monika hosted Dr. Andre Audette on the topic of "The Polarization of Politics in America". This was a GREAT presentation and a lot of fun. And it also presented some unifying discussion information - especially given the sad events of the last week. Thank you Monika and Dr. Audette for a great meeting. Still no AOS winner - the pot is growing!

OLD BUSINESS:

We discussed serving at St. Vincent De Paul's for a meal and agreed on Monday July 15th (next Monday). Monika got us signed up. Here's who helped and how it went.

8:30-10:30 Ana, Monika, Mark and Cathy

10:30- 1:00 Ken, Clare and Trudy

Yesterday we had a good, although busy, time working at Paul's Pantry. Served 50 meals of Eggs, French Toast/Syrup, sausage links, fruit and oatmeal cookies. Here are a few pics!

This might be something we want to consider doing once a quarter just like we do Ruby's. That would be a great way to support one of our communities!

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:

Ruby's Pantry - Next date will be Sept. 21.
Cook a meal at St. Vincent de Paul's Pauls Pantry - Do we want to do this again?
