This week - Trudy K. hosts our own Chris Fitzgerald on Frauds and Scams. Last week, Bill K. hosted Sheldon and Noon Clubs Dane J. who shared their experiences and pictures from the Rotary Curling trip to Scotland earlier this year. It was a fun presentation to hear how our two teams did and see pictures from the trip. Thanks Bill, Sheldon and Dane.
Discussed having a volunteer group attend the RI Conference in Mpls in 2028. See info below under district news to get your name on the list.
The Bourbon and Spirits Tasting Planning Committee met this morning and have our location/caterer locked in for Oct. 15th. Also some cool ideas in the works - watch for more info.
A little reminder for next week - We are getting a tour of the new pool and the Boys and Girls Club. If you want breakfast and a coffee to go - please come early. We will be meeting at Cabin Coffee - getting our food/beverage and then will head over to the RL Pool at 7:30am.
Cumberland Rotary Impact Club Update:
REMINDER - Meeting Tomorrow, Wednesday, June 24th - 7:00 AM at the Harvest Grill
We had a busy week last week! We helped at the Cumberland Industry Appreciation day with Cumberland Federal Bank being honored as industry of the year. We also packed food boxes at the Cumberland Food Shelf for the migrant workers who came late last week to work at Seneca. And Monday was our raffle at Taste in Cumberland supporting the Boys and Girls Club. Busy summer! We meet this Wednesday at 7:00 am at Harvest Grill.

Shell Lake Area Companion Club Update:
REMINDER - No meeting this week - Next Meeting Wednesday, July 8, 5:30 pm at the Shell Lake Lodge.
Held our first “official” get together last week. The group indicated that we would like to have our projects focus on support youth in the area. Will be reaching out to local school administrators to see if there are some direct needs. Also determined that we will be getting together on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the Month starting in July. Meeting time will be 5:30 pm at the Shell Lake Lodge unless otherwise determined.
EXECUTIVE BUSINESS:
We need complete the checkbook audit - Joe, Jason and Jim S. have agreed to do this.
Sunrise Rotary still needs to finalize officers for the next year. Jason is president. Kathy agreed to do treasurer again and Trudy agreed to continue as secretary. We need coverage for Membership and Foundation - this is a great way to get started on being more involved in Rotary - please let Jason know. We will also be looking for a president for Rotary year 27/28. Jason is willing to co-pres if someone will step up for a two year committment (first year co with Jason, second year on own).
This is our 30th Anniversary for Sunrise Rotary - would like to do something - if you want to help out you can join Jason, Monika and Clare for planning. Clare will also be doing a time line - so share any info that you want to have included.
