Dayle Quigley - Newsletter Items - WEEK 52
HOLY COW WE DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At the beginning, week #52 seemed to be an eternity away and yet here we are. My year as DG is ending and so is your year as President. I said at the beginning that the goal was to turn the wheel, to try and leave your club/our district stronger than when we started. We didn't need to "fix" everything, we just needed to make a change that was sustainable and make the job easier for the person coming behind us. I have no doubt that occurred.

More than anything, my year seemed to be one giant learning curve. My guess is yours was also. The cool thing is now that a lot of the responsibilities are going away....I can focus in on one or two items that I still want to help improve. Knowledge is a horrible thing to waste. Now that you know how your club runs and more importantly what does and doesn't run well, please don't waste the knowledge. Please take one of those items and continue to help your club. Just think of the cumulative effect if every past president every year worked to improve one item within their club based on the knowledge they gained. Oh the things we could do (That sounds like a Dr. Seuss book)

Congratulations on a successful year.

Love to you all
