Reminder - Meeting Thursday, June 27, 7:00 AM Stevies Cafe
Happy Beautiful Monday! Reminding everyone that we have our meeting scheduled for Thursday, June 27th at Stevies Cafe. This is an important one as we will be passing the gavel from Dean to BJ for our next Rotary year. Come and join us as we thank Dean for the last year and cheer on BJ to take us through the next year. We will also have a brief report from each of the groups (Membership, Public Image, Local/International Service Projects, Club Identity/Club Health Check) and any change of leadership that the groups may have.
Sadly - due to weather, our social activity of the concert was cancelled. Hopefully a few people still met for beverages and bonding. Our next social is scheduled for July 25th (or near there). If you have any ideas - please share them with the group.
Also a reminder that there is no meeting next week - next Thursday is July 4! Happy Independence Day! We will meet again on Thursday, July 11.
We will soon be looking at getting our Dictionary Project off the ground for this fall. Ken sent me this article to share with you:

OLD BUSINESS:
We discussed serving at St. Vincent De Paul's for a meal and agreed on Monday July 15th. Monika will get us signed up. The shift is usually 8:30 -1:00 but we split it in two. This is what I have for committments:
8:30-10:30 Ana, Monika, Mark and Cathy
10:30- 1:00 Ken, BJ, Clare and Trudy
Enter through the blue door in the back of the building (it's labeled..."Volunteers enter here").
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:
- Ruby's Pantry - Next date will be Sept. 21.
- Cook a meal at St. Vincent de Paul's Pauls Pantry - date July 15. Either 8:30-10:30 or 10:30-1. Let Monika know if you would like to help!
