Sunrise Rotary Club Update:

REMINDER - MEETING: Jan 8, 2026 at Cabin Coffee 7:00 AM.  (Board Meeting Report Out)

We will be meeting this week - 7:00 AM at Cabin Coffee - our program will be a report out of the Board Meeting from this morning.  Reminders to pay 3rd quarter dues, and sell those Valentine's Raffle tickets.  Drawing to be held Thusday, Feb. 12th.

Over the last two weeks, we served at St. Vinnie's on Mondays, Dec. 22 and 29th. This was a great event with members from our Cumberland Companion Club and the Noon Rotary and special guests helping us out.

We will be doing our Club Visioning on Thursday, Feb. 19th in lieu of a morning meeting.  Please put it on your calendars and watch for more info.

NEGU reminder March 27 is our date for the Joy Jar packing event to be held at Bethany Lutheran Church.  We have exceeded our goal of $16,000 and now shooting for $20,000.  Hoping to make it so we can pack more jars.

Cumberland Rotary Impact Club Update:

REMINDER - No Meeting on Jan. 7th - our next meeting will be an evening meeting on January 14th at Bona Casa at 5:30 pm.  Then on January 28th, 7:00 AM at Peter and Annies.

Happy New Year!  We are looking forward to having a year filled with fun and service!  We joined with the other 2 rotary clubs to prepare and serve a meal at St. Vincent de Paul on 12/31.  It was fun and rewarding especially to work with the other clubs.  On 1/1 our club prepared and served a meal at Benjamin’s House, another fun and rewarding experience and a great way to start the new year!   On Jan. 3rd, Clare talked at the district meeting about our satellite club.
The packages we sent to our adopted soldiers in Kuwait arrived and we plan on doing that again in 2026.  We are hoping to share a picture of them at some point.

On 1/14 we are hosting a social/meeting/service event at Bona Casa at 5:30.  We are hoping to recruit new members.  It will be the kickoff to a hat and mitten drive to benefit the schools.  Our next morning meeting will be on 1/28 at 7am at Peter and Annie’s.

EXECUTIVE BUSINESS:

We will be doing a club visioning exercise on Feb. 19,  2026 with support from our Rotary District. This will be a one-night activity and will include the Cumberland Impact Companion Club. This will be in-lieu of our morning meeting.  Watch for more details on location.
