Texas Disaster Relief

Rotary District 5840 is asking Rotarians across our Zone to Unite for Good in support of the Kerrville community, which has been devastated by historic flooding. The Guadalupe River surged to over 30 feet—well above its major flood stage—resulting in the tragic loss of lives and severe damage to homes and infrastructure.
Kerrville, home to two of District 5840’s dedicated Rotary Clubs, is facing an overwhelming recovery effort. In response, District 5840 has activated its 501(c)(3) Foundation to begin collecting tax-deductible donations to assist with disaster relief and long-term recovery.
How You Can Help
Rotarians and friends of Rotary from across the Zone are invited to stand in solidarity by contributing in any of the following ways:

District 5840 is working closely with the Rotary Clubs of Kerrville to identify urgent needs and coordinate the next steps, including when and how volunteers may safely assist with cleanup efforts.
This is a time for Rotary to show its collective strength and compassion. Let us live out this year’s Rotary theme and Unite for Good, offering hope and support to those affected by this disaster.
