Reminder - Meeting Thursday, December 21, 7:00 AM Stevies Cafe THAT'S TOMORROW!
Hi Folks!
Reminding you that we have our meeting tomorrow, Thursday, 7:00 AM at Stevies Cafe.
Mike VG will host. We will have a sharing of our most favorite life focus or activity....basically what are your two biggest passions in life! We hope to get a trend of interests that will help us determine a signature project. So think about this and please come and attend. We had great attendance last week and this will give a chance to get to know one another a bit more! And it'll be fun too.
Last week Mike VG gave us a great update and overview of the RL Main St. Project and some things happening in the future as well. Thanks Mike! Also - we had our Rubys Pantry activity. We had Don, Monika, Ken, Jim, Cathy and Mark, Trudy, Kathy R. (I hope I didn't miss anyone!) show up. We filled 178 shares and it went by fast!! Plus it was a LOT warmer out compared to last December. Thanks to everyone who helped.
Reminder that our Holiday celebration will be on Thursday, Dec. 28 (NO MORNING MEETING) at Kathy Ricci's home - Bring an appetizer to pass and any special beverage you prefer. Spouses are included!!

GRANT OPPORTUNITIES (Clubs):
This is a great opportunity for your club to get involved in the LIFT program, and to help end poverty, by sponsoring an upcoming grant. The project is a seed bank which will be a critical logistical hub to support the agricultural co-ops in the LIFT communities. Depending on your club's interest, you can sponsor a global grant for the whole project, or we can break up the project, so your club could sponsor a district grant or a smaller global grant. All the preliminary work is done for you already, with the project scoped, application drafted (including community assessment) and the LIFT team and PCF (Planting Change Foundation) will support the process, in order to make your sponsorship as easy as possible.
In order to move this ahead quickly, we need any interested clubs to sign up by
1/31/24.
