Voting to approve the Annual Statement and Report of District Finances
Each year, an
Annual Statement and Report of District Finances for the prior Rotary year is prepared by either an audit committee of our Rotary District or a qualified accountant in accordance with Rotary International Bylaw 15.060.4. That Bylaw requires that the statement and report be provided to clubs in the district at least 30 days before clubs are asked to vote on adopting that statement and report.
The
Annual Statement and Report of District Finances for 2022-23 has been prepared based on the work of a district audit committee and is attached to this email along with a narrative explaining portions of the statement and report. At the Annual Meeting via Zoom, you will be asked to vote for adoption of the statement and report.
If there are any questions about the
Annual Statement and Report of District Finances for 2022-2023, you may contact Kenny Klooser,

Voting on Submission of a Resolution from Rotary District 5960
Regarding Nuclear Weapons
Background information
The Rotary International Council on Resolutions will meet later this year online to vote on resolutions. Resolutions are suggestions to the Rotary International Board or the Trustees of The Rotary Foundation and may be submitted by districts and other Rotary entities, such as clubs and the Rotary International Board of Directors.
The resolution concerning nuclear weapons as set forth below has been proposed for submission by our district. It will be submitted by our district for consideration by the Council on Resolutions if there is a majority vote to submit it by club electors when clubs vote at the online Annual Meeting on May 7. You have a month to review the resolution and decide how the club elector will vote.
Each district in Rotary is entitled to a Representative on the Council. Our Representative is Past District Governor Kyle Haugen. If there are questions about the Resolution process, contact Kyle by email at
jkylehaugen@gmail.com.
If you have questions about the Resolution, contact Ann Frisch,
