Barron County Sunrise Rotary Club Update:

REMINDER - MEETING THIS WEEK! Thursday morning, April 9, 7:00 am  Cabin Coffee.

We will have our morning meeting on Thursday, 4/9.  Kathy R. hosts our County Food Pantrys.  We will be giving them our donations of $370 each from our Valentines Raffle.  (This was formally approved at our last meeting - motion by Joe, seconded by Tyler.)  We will also get an update from each as to what is happening in their areas.

Last week Jim S. hosted and we had a review of our board meeting discussions.  Many of our Rotarians are gone to the Scotland Curling Tournament .  Check out our facebook page for pictures from this event.  Looks like the group is having a lot of fun.  We wish Jason, Bill, Don, Bruce, and Dean the very best for good competition and safe travels on their trip home from Scotland.

A couple of reminders:

Visioning excercise will happen May 14 or 21st….looking at leaning towards the 21st.

Still collecting for Crutches for Africa - any mobility related items can be given/brought to our meetings throughout May or taken to Tyler at his business.  Will be shipping to Africa the end of May.

Joe Erickson and his wife Julie will be going on a Rotary Group Friendship Exchange this spring to Buenos Aries.  At the beginning of June, a group from Beunos Aries will be coming here - Rotary is looking for a few host families for tentatively the days of June 4-7th.

May 4 is our Cameron Event - see below for more information.  Feel free to download this - enlarge and make a poster if you have access to appropriate area businesses.

May 14-22 we will have representatives from the Czech Republic visiting our community.  We are looking for hosts for this visit.  Please contact Kathy R. or Deb Neuheisel if you are interested.

I am not sure why….but I believe this picture taken by Jason might be considered a finable offense…..or maybe Dean and Lori should be fined for imitating …..ah….nah….their actions don't appear to violate our 4-way test.
