ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Clare presented an idea for a future project with Charlie from the Northfield Club in Minnesota (we partnered with him with the Togo project and the books project)

This project takes place in Togo (northern part of the area) and they would like to put a security fence around the girls school in that area.  Cost is about $25,000.  There is civil unrest in the area north of Togo and they are looking to protect those students.  If the club and members of our club would contribute - Clare would be willing to match those funds.

Another event is RILFA will be hosting accordion players from the Czech Rep.  and they have enough host families but are looking for support for busing expenses.  Angie Beranek is potentially coming to share info on this.

The board will discuss both of these opportunities.

Spirits Tasting Event  - September 25th  The committee will be put together and start work after Mother's Day - Dean will work to get the first meeting set up.
