Just a reminder to work hard on securing a speaker. If you need ideas, reach out to any officer and we’ll be happy to help! If you’re unable to secure a speaker, please let us know as soon as possible so we can plan a focus for the weekly meeting. Please let Trudy know as soon as you have a program set up so it can be added to the calendar. If you need a Zoom link, contact Jason or Joe E.
Be sure to like our Facebook Page! Here is the link:
Instead of having a few leaders plan the year, invite every member to help shape it. Ask what speakers they'd love to hear, what service projects excite them, and what social events they'd actually be able to get friends and family to. When members help create the calendar, they're much more likely to show up—and invite others to join them.
2. Turn your best speakers into community events.
Save club business for another meeting and make your marquee speakers free and open to the public. Package the year's events into a beautiful calendar or flyer, distribute it to local businesses and neighborhoods, send it to your chamber, city-wide news page, and personally hand it out at community festivals. Instead of asking people to "come to our club meeting," you get to say “we’re hosting this amazing free program, I hope you can join us” —and let Rotary speak for itself. -he physically went to community events and handed out the newsletter
Magic Moment: Every public event is more than a program—it's an invitation to discover Rotary.
Reminder that the 2028 the Rotary Int'l Conference will be held in Minneapolis.
The 2028 Rotary International Convention — Minneapolis looks forward to working with volunteers like you.
