Reminder - Meeting, Thursday, Feb. 8 - 7:00 AM at Stevies Cafe!
Good morning!
Hoping your Tuesday is starting out well - just sending a reminder that we have our meeting this Thursday, 7:00 am at Stevies Cafe. Last week we held our meeting over the lunch hour at the RL Curling Club with members from the other Rotary Clubs participating in the CanAM tournament. It was a great turnout and there were many many ideas shared. I will be compiling them and bringing them to the club meeting this week. Special thank you to those members of both the sunrise and noon club who helped with preparation and serving the lunch (Clare, Marlene and Jim G., Kathy R., Emily Saffert, Monika, Tommy R., Joe Huftel to name a few) we had a lot of positive feedback and thank yous for the meal.
This week we are doing a report out from our groups - Please be prepared to do your initial report-out during this meeting. As a reminder the groups are:
Public Image (Monika, Jason, BJ, and Trudy)
Membership (Jeremy, Cathy and Mark)
Local/International Projects (Kathy R, Dean, Anna, Ken, and Clare)
Club Identity/Health Check (Don, Joe, Jim, and Mike)
Remember, you can still join anywhere that is of interest to you.
SELL THOSE RAFFLE TICKETS!! Jim has asked if everyone can bring their tickets/money in this week (Drawing is next week!) This is our second largest fund-raiser. Being a small club we really need to sell all 100 tickets. Only 39 have been turned in .... just below a bread even point. Drawing is February 15th! Thanks!!
STILL SEARCHING FOR A LEADER!!
We are still searching - we know you are there - we know you will rock this job of leadership because we have SO MUCH to support you as you step up as our club president this next year....there is training available and that is coming up soon and the club will provide support for that as well as attendance at our International Conf. in Singapore! What a great opportunity and life experience....don't let this chance get away!
